Should I just leave the delivery apps?
Usually not, and we will say so. The apps bring new customers; the waste is paying commission of up to 30% plus VAT on the fee (Uber Eats’ published UK rate) on regulars who would happily order direct. The plan is to keep the apps for discovery and quietly move your repeat customers to your own channel, order by order. Being straight with you: direct ordering pays back when you have your own drivers or a solid collection trade, and regulars who come back. If your orders are mostly spontaneous app customers, we will tell you it is not worth it yet.
I already have a website. Why isn’t it taking orders?
Most takeaway websites are menus, not tills: no ordering, no payment, no kitchen ticket. We build the ordering and the automation behind it, on your own domain, so the site earns its keep instead of sitting there.
Will my kitchen have to learn new software?
No. Tickets arrive the way your kitchen already works, and the automation fits around your till and your tablets. If anything, there is less to look at, because every channel lands in one list.
What does it cost?
A fixed quote per build, agreed in writing before we start. No day rates, no percentage of your orders, ever. The free 15-minute call gives you a real number and a straight opinion on whether it pays back for your volume.
What about card payments and the money?
Payments on your own channel go through your own payment account, straight to you. We never touch your takings, and there is no middleman between the customer’s card and your account.
