A scope sheet, in writing
The pages, the price, what is not included, and what counts as finished. Nothing is built until you have signed it.

We run the acceptance test together on your phone. You have five working days to run it. If anything fails we fix it and show you again at no charge.

What a website costs
One price, agreed before we start. The build is priced here in full, because it is the same for every business.

£600 one-off
A five-page site for your trade, on your own domain, live within ten working days. No VAT is added: Honey-Beez Ltd is not VAT registered, so the £600 is the whole build price.

Care plan
£29 a month, after your first year
Keeps the site live and safe. Nothing to pay in your first twelve months, then it carries on at £29 a month. We email you 30 days before that starts, and again 7 days before. If you tell us before that first payment is due, nothing is charged at all.

- Backed up every day, with a restore we have actually tested
- Checked every five minutes, so we know it is down before you do
- Security and platform updates
- If it breaks through no fault of yours, we answer within one working day and fix it at no charge
- Cancel any time, 30 days’ notice
- If you cancel, we hand over your site files and keep it online for a further 30 days so you have time to move it
- Changes to the site are quoted first. If you want them included, ask about the bigger plan
- Your first year of the domain is included in the £600. After that it renews at about £5 a year at Cloudflare, paid by you and billed in dollars.
- The care plan is monthly with no minimum term, and you can stop it on 30 days’ notice.
- We can change the price once a year at most, and only with 30 days’ written notice. If you do not want the new price, end the plan and pay the old one until it stops.
- Any other work is quoted as a fixed price before it starts. No day rates.
Email is not included: your domain works with whichever email provider you prefer, and we will point you at the cheap ones if you want an address on it.
The care plan is paid by Direct Debit through GoCardless, which you set up once, online. Your bank statement shows the payment under GoCardless, usually followed by our name and a reference. Some banks show only ‘GoCardless’.
Hosting is part of that plan: your first year is included, and if you stop the plan we hand over your site files and you move the site to a host of your own.

What does a website cost?
£600, fixed, agreed in writing before we start, and no VAT because we are not VAT registered. The pricing above sets out what that covers, how it is paid, and what happens after the first year.
Why not Wix or Squarespace?
Because they will build you a brochure more cheaply, and if that is all you need you should use them. What you are paying us for is the part they leave to you: the writing, the photos in the right places, the tappable number, and a quote form that actually reaches you. We do that work and hand you a finished site rather than a login.
What if the site I have is fine?
Then we will tell you so, and charge you nothing for saying it. We would rather lose the job than sell you a rebuild you do not need.
I already have a website. Can you fix it instead?
Often, yes. If the site is basically sound we write you a fix pack instead of rebuilding it: the changes worth making first, as steps you or your web person can follow. That is £120. If it is past fixing we rebuild it for the same fixed £600 as any other build. The free website review tells you which of the two you need.
Am I tied in?
No. Your domain is registered in your name, the content is yours, and the site is ordinary files that any host can run. The care plan is 30 days’ notice with no minimum term. If you leave, you take the site with you.
Should my domain be .co.uk or .com?
For a trade working in Luton and Bedfordshire, .co.uk. It tells customers and search engines you are a UK business before they read a word. Choose .com if you sell abroad or the .co.uk of your name is already taken. Either way we register it in your name, not ours.
What if something breaks after it is live?
You email or call us. On the care plan we answer within one working day, and a working day means Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm, not counting bank holidays. Anything you send outside those hours counts as arriving the next working morning. If the site is down or badly broken, we treat it as the priority. Changes we have agreed are normally done within three working days. What we cannot promise is that a site is never offline: hosting, the domain and the security certificate all depend on other companies. What we do promise is that you are told where it stands and not left guessing.
What about our data and GDPR?
Your site gets a privacy notice written from our standard wording and checked against how you actually handle enquiries, because the notice has to be true of your business, not ours. Anything we process on your behalf is covered by a Data Processing Agreement you get a copy of.
Do you do anything other than websites?
Not today: websites are what we offer. If you need something else, ask on the free call and we will say whether we can help.
