Fix pack terms

These are the terms for a written fix pack. They apply when you pay for one, and nothing here changes the free review, which stays free.

1. What you get

A written document, in your name, that takes the problems your free review found and turns them into steps you can follow. Each fix says what to change, where to change it, roughly how long it takes, and how to tell it worked. The fixes are in the order to do them, and where one of them needs a decision only you can make, the pack says so and stops.

You get it as a PDF. It is yours to keep, to forward to whoever maintains your site, and to use again.

2. What it costs

£120, fixed, for one pack for one website. No VAT is chargeable, because Honey-Beez Ltd is not VAT registered, so £120 is the whole number you pay. Payable in advance. We start writing when the payment clears.

3. When you get it

Within five working days of your payment clearing. If we are going to miss that, we tell you before the five days are up and give you a new date, and you may ask for your money back instead.

If we do not deliver the pack, you get a full refund. No conditions on that and no argument about it.

4. Who does the work

You do, or whoever looks after your site does. We do not log in to your website, your hosting, or any account of yours, and we do not ask you for a password. The pack is written so that someone who is not technical can follow it, but it is still work, and it is your work.

5. What we are responsible for

We are responsible for the pack being accurate and clear when we write it, and for rewriting it free of charge if it is not. We are not responsible for what happens when the steps are applied: we cannot see your site while you work on it, we do not know what else is installed on it, and we are not the ones making the changes.

Back your site up before you change anything. If you are not sure how, ask us and we will tell you, free.

Our total liability for everything connected with a fix pack is capped at £600, or the fees you have actually paid us for it, whichever is greater. We are not liable for lost profits or lost business. Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited. If you are buying as a consumer, nothing here reduces what the Consumer Rights Act 2015 gives you.

6. What a fix pack is not

  • It is not a care plan. The care plan is for a website we built and we host, and it is not available for a site on somebody else's hosting.
  • It is not a rebuild. If you would rather we built the site again, that is the standard build at £600 and your domain comes with you.
  • It is not ongoing support. One pack, one website, one payment. Questions about the pack itself are free, for as long as it takes to be clear.
  • It is not legal, tax or accounting advice, and nothing in it should be read as any of those.

7. Cancelling

You have 14 days to cancel from the day you order, and the Cancellation Notice you were given explains how. Because the pack is written and sent in five working days, it can be finished inside those 14 days: if you ask us to start straight away and we deliver the pack before your 14 days are up, the right to cancel ends when the pack reaches you and the £120 is due. That request has to be signed, on the Cancellation Notice, before we start.

8. Your information

To write the pack we use what is already in your free review, plus anything you send us. We do not need personal data about your customers and you should not send us any. How we handle what you do send is in our privacy notice at yusrdigital.co.uk/privacy.

9. Law

England and Wales, exclusive jurisdiction. If any part of these terms is held unenforceable, it is severed and the rest continues in force.
